My meal, My Way at Festival Foods

Festival Foods (East Washington Ave) has teamed up with Dane County’s My Meal, My Way program to offer area seniors an affordable and healthy lunch option.

Adults over the age of 60 can assemble a plate of food from the salad bar at Festival Foods and also order a cup of soup.  With a suggested donation of $4, participants are still only encouraged to pay what they can afford.

Lunch is offered every Thursday from 11am to 1:30pm at Festival Foods on East Washington Avenue.  Transportation is also available by calling (608)243-5252.

Members of the North/Eastside Senior Coalition and the East Madison/Monona Coalition of the Aging will volunteer at the lunches.

Festival Foods is the fifth business to participate in My Meal, My Way, which is a donation-based program in Dane County.

For more information or to learn more about volunteering opportunities, please call (608)243-5252.
