We have some fun events going on this month that I encourage all of you to take advantage of, starting off with our annual “Senior Adult Prom.” This event will take place at Black Hawk Middle School gym (1402 Wyoming Way, Madison.) The theme for this year is “Hollywood.” Come as you are or dress for the theme. Light refreshments will be served and there will be a DJ, and limited transportation is available. That’s Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 6:30-8:30pm.
The African American Cultural Diversity Diabetes Support Group will have a speaker from the Endocrinologist Department with Meriter Hospital to talk about the link between diabetes and heart disease on Thursday, April 26, 2012, 2-4pm, 540 W.
