Our organization and the senior adults in our community rely on the power of volunteers to provide quality services to those in need and to ensure our programs and events are a success. Are you looking for a volunteer opportunity that is flexible with your busy schedule, but allows you to make a difference for someone in need? Consider our Home Chore program – you will assist frail and limited income older adults so they can remain independent and in their own homes.
|Dining Site Volunteer
Are you looking to provide warm meals along with a warm smile to the seniors in our community? Volunteering in the dining site helps our seniors stay independent by giving them access to nutritious and balanced food. Join our dining site team to hand our seniors delicious meals and provide a space for them to socialize!

|Grocery Delivery Volunteer
Some of our senior adults struggle to travel to the grocery store, and may need supplemental food to ensure a healthy and balanced diet. As the only senior adult non-profit coaltion that provides programming for the Latinx community, we prioritize creating engaging opportunities and needed support for this underserved population. Our senior adults are always looking for new opportunities to learn, be engaged, and stay active. Is there a workshop you like to run, have a lesson you would like to teach, or have skills you would like to share? Do you need an opportunity that fits your busy schedule? Do you have a passion for working with senior adults, and enjoy providing engaging opportunities for the community? Are you looking for a leadership opportunity that allows you to build lasting relationships with members of our community? Then consider joining our Programs team!
|Support Group Facilitator
Life takes unexpected turns: our senior adults may be struggling with illness, may have lost a loved one, or needs a safe space. Support groups help bring struggling community members together, and ensures that they feel supported. If you want to make an immediate impact as a supportive and compassionate volunteer, consider peer leading one of our support groups!
In order to provide our diverse programming and services, we need to secure funding from a variety of sources. One of those methods includes applying for grants from various organizations, foundations, and government programs. Dance is an excellent medium to stay healthy, interact, and express oneself, and this can be an opportunity to flex your dance knowledge. Help provide a fun, convenient and safe environment as our dance instructor!
|Foot Clinic Volunteer
We all spend a lot of time on our feet, so keeping them healthy is important. However, as you age, it unfortunately becomes harder to care for your feet. Join NESCO and SSM Health @ Home to make sure our older adults get the help they need, and keep their feet healthy!
|Digital Literacy Volunteer
Various resources are available on the web and multiple applications have the power to keep us all connected. However, some of our older adults need help to understand and master how to use these resources. Join our team to help teach and guide our older adults to use various forms of technology one-on-one in a relaxed and comfortable setting that fosters learning, socialization, and improved health!

In order to continue providing nutritious meals to our North/Eastside older adults and to manage our office processes, data entry is vital for the purposes of reporting and communication.
